Lecturer (Academic) in Advanced Clinical Practice

The Faculty of Health and Social Sciences (HSS) is central to this vision, working closely with practice partners to prepare and develop health care and social work professionals to provide high quality care.  The Faculty is situated at Lansdowne Campus, in central Bournemouth and close to its beautiful beaches and amenities. 

We are seeking a Lecturer in Advanced Clinical Practice who is committed to excellence in patient care, teaching and research.  You will have current UK health professional registration with the NMC or HCPC and extensive experience within Advanced Clinical Practice.  You will be based in the Department Nursing and Clinical Sciences and work primarily within the Masters Level Advanced Clinical Practice Programme team.  This role offers an exciting opportunity to work collaboratively within Bournemouth University and with external partners in developing an excellent student experience and research outputs relevant to Advanced Clinical Practice. The Department is committed to supporting and developing its staff in order to pursue high quality research, teaching and practice.

You will be qualified to Doctorate level or be able to demonstrate the ability to create and disseminate knowledge at an equivalent level and the capability to convert this knowledge into a doctorate in a maximum of 3-5 years from the date of appointment.  You will be research active and committed to a culture of academic excellence and continuous improvement. 

This post is available part-time for 0.6FTE.
