£32,548 - £38,833pa – fixed term until 31st May 2021

The Usher Institute within the University of Edinburgh is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Research Fellow to conduct and facilitate a programme of original research on health impacts within the TIBA Partnership, an international health research programme. The role will include liaison with colleagues in Edinburgh and African partners, coordinating research activities and promoting dissemination of research findings through academic publications, conference presentations and public engagement. 

Applicants must have a PhD (or near completion) in a relevant discipline e.g. biosciences, public health development studies, health systems research, with experience in research programme management and a high level of analytical skills to understand highly complex quantitative and qualitative research data.  This position offers the post-holder the opportunity to be supported and mentored as an independent early career researcher.

The post is full-time (35 hours per week) and is available from January 2018 to 31st May 2021.
