HR Administrative Assistant

Applications are invited for the position of Human Resource Administrative Assistant within the Department of Clinical Neurosciences core administrative team.

This is an exciting and varied role that would suit an individual with knowledge and an understanding of the University's administrative procedures, and experience of providing support in a Human Resource environment.

The role holder will provide administrative support to the Human Resource Administrator in various stages of recruitment, including arranging interviews, room bookings, requesting references.

Recruitment support will also include initiating Certificate of Sponsorships and Research Passports/Honorary Contracts and security checks as required.

The role will provide support to new starters including inductions and monitoring probation and appraisal processes. 

The role will also include monitoring CHRIS burst reports, eg limit of tenure report, and liaising with the H/R Administrator with regards to relevant actions, corresponding with line managers and member of staff as appropriate, adhering to strict timetables. 

The role holder also provides support for certain general administrative duties within the core team.

Fixed-term: The funds for this post are available for 1 year in the first instance.
