Who are you?

You are an IT Service professional with experience of developing IT systems and implementing strategy developments to improve service, maintain key procedures and advance IT processes.

You are looking for an opportunity to lead a dedicated IT Services team, to assist leading in the management of the IT function, and substantially contributing to the University’s overall IT strategy and technology direction.

You want to ensure that all relevant IT systems, services and support used by the Faculty, are delivered and communicated effectively and operate efficiently to satisfactory service levels

You have …

Knowledge and experience of implementing and managing infrastructure to store high volume, high throughput datasets used for research activities.

Substantial relevant management experience in the provision of IT services, preferably within a demanding, customer-centric environment

Proven track record of professional service management in an IT environment

Well-developed organisational skills, including the ability to work under your own initiative

Well-developed understanding of IT security and cyber security best practice, risk management, BCP and data protection
