Job Description

Educational requirements & experiences 

  • Master’s Degree as per position requirement. Phd preferred
  • Prior experience in designing and managing of academic programs
  • Experience as a faculty in an educational (university or college) institute.
  • Previous experience in a registrar’s office/Student affairs office will be preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and a demonstrated competency to interact with people at all levels of the organization.

Roles and Responsibilities 

  • Clearly outlining program objectives and drafting strategic short-term and long-term plans in collaboration with Head of Learning.
  • Executing program in alignment with the EIBFS strategy.
  • Ensuring effective curriculum delivery, the achievement of departmental goals, learning outcomes and the meeting of targets.
  • Recruiting and training full-time and adjunct faculty.
  • Coordinating amongst the three campuses in provision of academic and accredited programs.
  • Overseeing the program's budget, enrollment, and revenue generation Supervising development of the curriculum.
  • Periodically evaluating the curriculum, instructional materials, student performances, teaching methodologies
  • Observing learning & assessment practices, facilities and potential hazards and report any risks to the Head of Learning.
  • Achieving the required standards and accreditations (as defined by Quality Assurance and Enhancement)
  • Deploying teaching resources, textbooks, teaching technologies and other tools to ensure achievements of learning outcomes
  • Developing new models for outsourcing course delivery through partnerships
  • Supporting Quality Assurance Office in collecting required data to track progress against KPIs
  • Carrying out other tasks assigned by the Director of the Learning Division
  • Coordinating and monitoring the teaching activities of the program;
  • Coordinating and monitoring examinations and examination marking pertaining to the program.
  • Coordinating the self-evaluation and review processes of the program; 

The Academic program Coordinator in addition Coordinates with

  • Marketing and Social Media Department and PR Office on marketing the program offering
  • Centers for Training and English Language on the recruitment, training, and assignment of faculty
  • Partnerships Department on sourcing potential partners and establishing partnerships for curriculum design and delivery.
  • Finance & Accounting Department on preparing and managing the annual budget for the department.
  • Registrar and Facilities Management Departments on ensuring smooth operations of training delivery
