KSENIA LITVINENKO

RUSSIA

“I feel very lucky to have been a part of CEU’s History Department. Being interested in the history of Soviet architecture, I have gained a lot of inspiration from faculty and fellow students doing their own research in various fields. Working with them, I have developed a more nuanced perspective on my own work and learned a lot about new historical contexts and approaches. Budapest is a perfect place for such exchange, debates and making friends for life.”

The Department of History at Central European University (CEU) offers interdisciplinary and comparative perspectives on Eastern, Central and Western Europe, the Eastern Mediterranean, the Middle East and Central Asia.
