Working with Professor W Hope’s team, you will run APT’s GCP bioanalytical laboratory and play a key strategic management role.  APT is the lead partner within the newly formed Centre for Antimicrobial Pharmacodynamics(CAP), the CAP is part of CEIDR (Centre for Excellence in Inf. Disease Research which is a collaborative agreement between University of Liverpool, Liverpool School of Tropical Medicine and North Bristol University Hospital Trust - with industry and clinical collaborators. The centre will provide state-of-the–art imaging and analysis facilities – and drug development packages.  You will report to relevant bodies including MHRA, and industry partners.

You will be responsible for grant management, procurement and negotiation, along with some line management responsibility.  You will have extensive interactions with internal and external personnel, involvement in training, document and report writing, negotiations and risk management. As the bio analytical manager it will be your responsibility to ensure that the Group is supported and results are delivered in a timely manner to the required regulatory standards.  You should have a degree in a relevant area.  The post is available until 30 November 2020.
