We seek an outstanding and innovative professional for the role of Director of Human Resources. This senior strategic position will be responsible for the delivery of our People Strategy, leading the delivery of a responsive, enabling and creative HR function responding to the diverse needs of our Schools and Professional Services. Reporting to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Resources) and with a full role on our University Executive Team you will work closely with the Vice Chancellor and other senior colleagues in delivering the University Strategic Plan.

You will be a HR leader with a proven track record of delivering strategic HR in complex organisations. You will also have experience of working at board level and influencing across a wide stakeholder community, including working with trade unions. You will bring an innovative and creative approach with experience of leading significant change. Membership of the CIPD is essential, fellowship is desirable.
