Senior PGT and CPD Support Administrator

We seek an experienced administrator who will provide high level professional administrative support to students, delegates and teaching staff as part of the Education Support Team in the School of Engineering.

The team is responsible for the efficient running of all administrative matters relating to postgraduate students, CPD delegates and their programmes and short courses within the School. 

It is responsible for a wide range of activities in support of the student life cycle eg preparation for Welcome activities; student registrations; timetabling; general student enquiries; module feedback questionnaire processing; exam paper preparation and marks processing. The School also has a wide variety of high profile CPD and short courses aimed at the professional market and will include a wide variety of tasks including liaison with contacts both within and externally to the University. This is a wide and varied role.

A customer service focus is essential as the postholder will be required to support the students and work closely with the Head of Education and Year Directors to support and implement changes to procedures where necessary.

The ideal candidate should demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, proven team management ability and be able to deal effectively with professional and academic colleagues.

They should have significant current experience of working within a busy multifunctional environment within HE education administration and be able to prioritise workloads to tight deadlines with a high level of accuracy.

Starting salary is normally in the range £22,277 - £23,532 with potential progression once in post to £27,242.
