Clinical Research Fellow in Diabetes

We welcome applicants for a new post as clinical research fellow in the Diabetes Research group at King's College London working with Dr Pratik Choudhary and Prof Stephanie Amiel. The candidate must be clinically qualified; having MRCP or its equivalent, and be eligible to work clinically in the UK. The role will be to undertake a major new JDRF- funded research project that will use functional MRI techniques to evaluate changes in the brain responses to hypoglycemia following a novel intervention to restore awareness of hypoglycaemia to adults with type 1 diabetes at high risk of severe hypoglycaemia. The work will be suitable as a basis for a PhD degree. The post holder will work within the team with responsibility for setting up and running the study, ensuring participant recruitment and proper conduct of the study, its outcome assessments and the data analysis and presentation, under the supervision of the investigators. 

This post will be fixed-term contract for 1 year.

The salary will be paid on the Clinical Research Fellow grade: £31,931 to £40,491 per annum, plus £2,192 per annum London Allowance.
