Research Support Manager

The School of Engineering is seeking to appoint a Research Support Manager. The School of aligns the activities of Civil Engineering, Electronic, Electrical and Systems Engineering and Mechanical Engineering in order to create a multi-disciplinary vibrant environment for outstanding study and research. It fosters the conditions for greater interdisciplinary research collaborations, allowing high calibre students and research staff to find solutions to the key global engineering and societal challenges of the 21st century.

This newly-created post will play a lead role in the management of post-award support for the research groups in the School, ensuring key milestones are met and deliverables achieved. The post-holder will also provide key support for strategic research projects covering various aspects of project management as required. The post-holder will also lead (from a Professional Services standpoint) on the School’s preparations for the next REF exercise, including the coordination and development of impact case studies.
