The salary will be paid at Grade 4, £24,285 to £27,285 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance

Fixed term for 12 months

The School of Biomechanical Engineering & Imaging Sciences offers a portfolio of world-class academic programmes from undergraduate through to PhD.

We are looking for a bright, keen, efficient administrator to join the Education Team. Your main focus will be on our undergraduate offer, supporting the programme leads to deliver a high quality learning experience leading to excellent student outcomes.

We need a person with a solid background in administration and a good understanding of the academic cycle, who is:

  • committed to high levels of customer-service both for your students and for your academic teaching teams;
  • an effective user of a range of IT tools and systems, from student records databases, through virtual learning environments to maintaining websites;
  • well-organised and able to manage their time effectively during busy periods;
  • an excellent communicator both face-to-face and in written formats.

We have ambitious targets for our B/MEng in Biomedical Engineering, so this is an exciting opportunity to work with the team to help develop systems and relationships to manage the planned growth in student numbers.
