Postgraduate Teaching Manager

UCL Medical School is seeking to appoint an experienced teaching administrator to provide comprehensive and high quality support for our postgraduate teaching and learning activities. The post holder will act as the Teaching Manager for all of the department’s postgraduate master’s programmes. The post-holder will work closely with the Divisional Graduate Tutor and Course Directors to manage all aspects of the administration of the Division’s postgraduate and CPD programmes.

The successful candidate will be highly organised with an eye for detail and accuracy and have the ability to cope with multiple projects and competing deadlines.

This post will also line manage a grade 6 postgraduate Teaching Administrator.

The post holder will lead in providing a high quality and timely service to current and prospective students and staff. They will need to be efficient organised and pay close attention to detail. The post holder will produce and maintain standard operating procedures for all matters relating to the teaching and learning activities of students, from enquiry to graduation.

The successful candidate will be educated to Degree level or have an equivalent level of knowledge acquired through experience and training/development. Commitment to identifying, acquiring and developing new skills is essential in order to grow with the ever changing and challenging environment.

Candidates will need excellent IT skills and directly relevant experience of working in UK higher education and teaching administration.
