University Teacher (Human Geography)

Applications are invited for a 24-month fixed-term full-time University Teacher in the School of Geosciences in the area of Human Geography. The successful candidate will be required to undertake duties including organising and teaching at both honours and pre-honours levels. The post-holder will contribute to teaching on the following courses, notably ‘Research Design in Geography’, ‘Fundamental Methods in Geography’, ‘Human Geography’, and ‘Social and Cultural Geography’, as required. The post-holder will contribute to general teaching duties on the Geography degree programme, including acting as a Personal Tutor, dissertation supervision, and marking. Contributions to field trips and open days should be anticipated.

This full-time post is for a fixed period of twenty-four months, from 1st of January 2018 to 31st December 2019.

Salary range: £32,548 - £38,833.
