Widening Participation Project Coordinator NCOP (Sims bid)

Bucks New University have successfully bid for Study Higher funding to deliver a collaborative outreach project. ‘Simulate Your Future’ will target widening participation students within selected NCOP (National Collaborative Outreach Programme) wards, to participate in a hands-on, simulated workshop experience. The aim of this project is to develop participants’ understanding of the varied higher education progression pathways, which can lead to particular careers.

The post holder will manage the project from the initial content development stages, throughout the operational delivery of the launch and events programme, to the subsequent evaluation of impact. This project will be delivered in collaboration with our Study Higher partners: University of Oxford, Reading University and Oxford Brookes University.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level, and will have experience of delivering workshops for young people. You should have good written and oral communication, with a particular emphasis on presentation skills.
