Lecturer in Animal Management

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced animal lecturer on a 0.8 contract to join the Further Education Animal Management team at Brackenhurst.

The role requires an exceptional individual to engage our students with outstanding teaching learning and assessment, making full use of the excellent animal collection on our animal unit and resources. The successful candidate will plan and implement teaching, learning and assessment across all animal courses at both level 2 and 3.

The successful applicant must have experience of teaching in Further Education with a clear passion to engage learners with their interest in animals.

The School of Animal, Rural and Environmental Sciences at our Brackenhurst campus is located in a 200-hectare estate near the attractive Minster town of Southwell. The university in recent years, has invested in laboratories and teaching facilities, glasshouses and wildlife conservation areas, veterinary and animal science units, equestrian arena and commercial farming facilities to create a superb location for teaching our Further Education students. The university continues to invest in Brackenhurst with a new Reception and Environment Centre currently under construction.
