The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Durham University invites applications for a two year postdoctoral position in the area of supersymmetric quantum field theory, in the Centre for Particle Theory, to begin in October 2018. The position is funded by an STFC consolidated grant in “Particles, Strings and Cosmology”.

Candidates with strong track records in holography, string theory, cosmology, elementary particle theory, and related areas are encouraged to apply. Applications are particularly welcome from women and black and minority ethnic candidates, who are under-represented in academic posts in the University. The position involves working with members of the Maths CPT group and independently to further our research in this area.
