The HR Team is based within the wider NDCN admin team, providing professional administrative personnel services, supporting over 380 staff and approximately 350 visitors and honorary staff. This is an exciting and positively challenging role, giving you an opportunity to support some of the world’s leading scientists and students, within one of the most respected Universities in the world.

Reporting to the HR Manager you will actively contribute to administrative function of the of the local employee lifecycle and recruitment processes. You will work closely with the HR Administrators to ensure efficient and timely payroll management for departmental staff. One of your main responsibilities will be to prepare and manage all NDCN Honorary contracts and visitor agreements. You will act as the point of contact for employees, Principal Investigators and line managers for contract and general HR queries.

You will be have GSCE level English and Maths (A-C) or equivalent with an awareness of data protection and information security guidelines. You should be able to demonstrate appropriate discretion when dealing with confidential information. Previous experience of providing a high level of customer service is essential as well as the ability to prioritise workload and produce accurate, detailed work within set deadlines.

The post is full-time, fixed-term for 3 years in the first instance.
