Part-time working hours considered at a minimum of 60% FTE.
80%-100% FTE would be preferred.

Are you an ambitious health services researcher looking for an exciting challenge? Are you interested in palliative and end of life care, and passionate about service-led innovation and research?

This posts offers an exceptional opportunity to work between the Unit of Academic Primary Care (UAPC), Division of Health Sciences, Warwick Medical School and Marie Curie Hospice Solihull to play a leading role in the development of and facilitation of research in palliative care using the hospice as a recruitment site.

You will be line managed by Professor Jeremy Dale, and will be supported by the Clinical Lead for Research (Dr Claire Ferguson) at Marie Curie Solihull and by the Research & Innovation Director (Dr Nicky Agelopoulos) at Marie Curie.

The UAPC is a multi-disciplinary unit with extensive quantitative and qualitative methodological expertise related to primary care and community-based health services research. We have strong links with other units in the Division that provide further expertise in ethics, social science, statistics, health economics and clinical trials. We have a growing portfolio of research related to palliative care, end of life care and cancer survivorship.

You will have a first degree and PhD in a health sciences discipline relevant to palliative care research, and preferably will have previous experience of working or researching in a palliative care environment.
