Who are you?

You are an Integration Developer with the skills to provide and maintain interfaces between systems and services that underpin key business processes and intelligence.

You are looking for an opportunity to be part of a dedicated IT integration team, delivering secure and robust solutions using bulk, message or file transfer methods.

You are aware of the principles of middleware and have an understanding of integration methods such as adopting a SOA (Service Oriented Architecture) approach.

You want to work closely with IT and university business colleagues to assist in providing efficient, effective and secure movement of data.

You have …

An understanding of system integration, the principle of middleware and the complexities of transferring data between systems from both a technical and data accountability perspective.

Experience of providing solutions using PowerShell and MS SQL or equivalent technologies.

An understanding of web services (REST and SOAP) and their related components such as XML, JSON and XSLT.

Knowledge of authentication and transport security considerations such as OAuth, SSL and HTTPS.

Experience of using a variety of development processes and the ability to flex your approach based upon solution requirements and constraints.

A desire to help deliver systems integration to a high standard, contributing to the continual improvement of student experience.
