Applications are invited for a Postdoctoral Research Associate to work on the project ‘Euler systems' with Dr. Sarah Zerbes. The responsibilities of the post will include: carrying out high-level research into the construction and arithmetic applications of Euler systems, submitting publications regularly in refereed journals and participating in national and international conferences

Candidates should either have a PhD or equivalent qualification in algebraic number theory, should be finalising their PhD or waiting for their viva date. It is essential that the successful candidate will have experience in the theory of modular forms and modular curves. Knowledge of Iwasawa theory or p-adic Hodge theory is desirable. Candidates will have excellent interpersonal, oral and written communication skills.
