The Southampton High Energy Physics group has a postdoctoral research position available.

The group is particularly keen to attract a candidate interested in the general area of physics beyond the Standard Models of Particle Physics and Cosmology. Examples of suitable areas could include: flavour (including neutrino) models based on discrete symmetries, supersymmetric unified and string inspired models, Higgs models, neutrino phenomenology,particle cosmology (dark matter, leptogenesis, inflation, dark energy, dark radiation), astroparticle physics (dark matter detection, high energy neutrinos, cosmic rays). 

The post is fixed term until 30/09/2020.

Applications for Research Fellow positions will be considered from candidates who are working towards or nearing completion of a relevant PhD qualification. The title of Research Fellow will be applied upon successful completion of the PhD. Prior to the qualification being awarded the title of Senior Research Assistant will be given.
