Part-time Associate Professorship (Non-Tutorial Fellowship) in Fine Art

University of Oxford - Ruskin School of Art

The Ruskin School of Art, together with Lady Margaret Hall, proposes to appoint to a part-time (0.5FTE) Associate Professorship in Fine Art with effect from 1 October 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter. We seek an artist of emerging or established international stature with a commensurate history of exhibition and publication. The area of expertise is open. The Associate Professor will be expected to work with colleagues in art history and theory in the further development of undergraduate and graduate study, and to contribute to graduate supervision. The successful applicant will have extensive experience of research practice and/or a doctorate in fine art of a related field, and an established theoretical or critical dimension to applicants' practices as artists may be an advantage.
