Professor/ Associate Professorship / Lecturer in Analytical Chemistry

The German University in Cairo invites applications for the following vacancy to be filled Spring 2018 (February) or Winter 2018/2019 (September).

Position Description:
The German University in Cairo is looking for a highly qualified and motivated full time faculty staff.  The successful candidate is expected to contribute to the teaching of both undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He /She will be responsible for teaching and coordinating specialized courses in General & Inorganic Chemistry, Pharmaceutical Analytical Chemistry, Instrumental Analysis and chemistry for Engineering. The candidate should also possess a strong record of funding and publications in the respective field and ready to supervise master and doctoral students. 

Qualifications:
A doctoral degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry/Analytical Chemistry or related areas is required. Applicants should have their first degree in Pharmacy. Successful candidates are expected to have ideally 5 years of teaching and independent research experience. Candidates are preferred to have administrative experience with leadership personality, and excellent interpersonal skills.
