Allergy UK Research and Development Nurse

Based in the University of Edinburgh’s Usher Institute, this post offers an exciting opportunity to work within the Allergy and Respiratory Research Group. 

The Institute is seeking an experienced and dynamic Allergy Research Nurse with a degree or higher diploma in allergy or the ability to demonstrate equivalent learning and knowledge.  Working closely with the senior lead nurse, the Allergy Research Nurse will be expected to plan, project manage and run allergy clinics in primary care and manage patients with allergic and allergy-related conditions. This requires a specialist allergy knowledge and significant clinical experience. An extensive knowledge of allergic disease and experience, including diagnostic experience, as an allergy clinical nurse specialist is essential.

The post presents an excellent opportunity to work with a team of people engaged in undertaking translational research, undergraduate and postgraduate training, service delivery and national and international policy advisory work.

The post is offered as part-time (10 hours per week) and is Fixed Term to 31st January 2020.
