About the role:
IT Services provide services and support to students and staff across our main campuses and partnerships. As Senior IT Business Partner, you’ll lead a small team of IT Business Partners, who proactively serve as a “trusted advisor,” function as a key point of contact for IT business stakeholders and act as advocates on behalf of business. You’ll lead on and personally deliver an effective Business Engagement service, develop and maintain an in-depth understanding of the Faculty and Directorate academic and business processes and information technology needs, ensuring effective alignment between IT Services priorities and business requirements.

With a higher degree or relevant professional qualification at postgraduate level (chartered where appropriate) or significant relevant senior level experience, you’ll have demonstrable experience of managing a customer facing IT Service provision or Business Relationship/Account management function. You’ll also have demonstrable experience of strategic planning with diverse senior internal stakeholders and of producing business cases and/or project briefs/mandates. Experience of working in best practice (e.g. ITIL) service management environments is essential. You’ll have broad technical knowledge and understanding gained through a professional background in information technology management or service delivery and strong leadership skills.
