Student Experience Manager (Administrative Services) Grade 8

University of Liverpool - Student Administration and Support Division (SAS)

Sitting within the Directorate of Student Experience and Enhancement and reporting to the Head of Student Administration, you will be responsible for the management of the administrative student services delivered by the Division of Student Administration and Support, as well as the coordination and oversight of those administrative processes devolved to colleagues in other departments and campuses of the University.

You will oversee the operational management of the University’s student registration and records management processes, including its statutory reporting responsibilities and administrative compliance with its UKVI Tier 4 responsibilities as an immigration sponsor of international students.  The role will also involve leading and delivering large scale outputs such as award documentation and the University’s e-HEAR, and large scale events such as the University’s graduation ceremonies.  The role contains significant scope for innovation; for implementing initiatives and developing business processes – utilising key business IT systems - which place our students at their core and which seek at all times to enhance their experience.

You should have a degree (or equivalent professional qualification/s and/or experience) and experience within HE, particularly in managing large and multi-functional operational teams focussed on service delivery.   You should also have specialist knowledge of a variety of business IT systems, in particular large student record systems, and a proven track record of delivering innovative service delivery solutions.
