Lecturer– Clinical Practice (Physician Associate)

The Faculty of Health and Wellbeing are looking to recruit a Lecturer – Clinical Practice (Physician Associate) due to the successful expansion of the Centre.

The key duties of the role-holder will be the key link between practice and the HEI for relevant programmes. In partnership with the Trusts PEF teams the post holder will ensure the provision of high quality multi-professional learning environments and will be required to work locally within services where inter-professional learning opportunities can be promoted. The post holder will provide support to students and supervisors within the clinical placements and personal support of students are also key requirements. In addition to contribute to the student recruitment and admissions of the programme. 

A first degree and post-graduate qualification in a relevant area is essential. HCPC/NMC registration is a desirable requirement for this role along with a teaching qualification (willingness to obtain is essential where the candidate doesn’t hold the qualification).

The successful candidate should demonstrate a practical awareness of current developments in Clinical Practice and as well as being able to facilitate the creation and maintenance of a range of links between courses and the health care sector.
