Full-time PhD Studentships - School of Physical Sciences

The School of Physical Sciences, STEM Faculty, invites applications for full-time PhD studentships for an October 2018 start; projects are divided into different categories based on the disciplines and the range of backgrounds expected from applicants:

  • Physics
  • Astronomy 
  • Planetary and Space Science
  • Space Instrumentation

There are likely to be at least 10 full-time PhD studentships available, funded by STFC and the OU.

The three-year research studentships provide a maintenance grant of £14,553 per year (2017-2018 rate) and all academic fees are covered.
