University of Cambridge - Department of Radiology

The Department of Radiology is looking to appoint to an unestablished post at the level of University Lecturer (Honorary Consultant) in Radiology to work closely with the Head of Department, Professor Fiona Gilbert.

The successful applicant will have due accreditation in Nuclear Medicine (or be a Nuclear Medicine specialist) or specialty in Cardiothoracic). S/he will be expected to participate on a programme of research, in undergraduate and postgraduate teaching, and to contribute to the clinical service at Addenbrooke's Hospital (he or she will be eligible for the award of an Honorary NHS Consultant contract by Cambridge University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust). The post holder will participate in developing undergraduate teaching and will support the regional delivery of the radiology teaching programme.

The applicant is expected to have a subspecialty interest and the department is willing to consider any subspecialty for this particular position. The hospital and Clinical School have a diverse range of expertise and can support a wide range of special interests.

This appointment requires an Honorary Clinical Contract.
