The salary will be paid at Grade 7, £41,212 to £49,149 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Indefinite.

This is a Full-time - 100 % full time equivalent.

The University has recently established a new world-class research group in Statistics, with two professors and four lecturers. As part of this expansion programme, applications are invited for a Lectureship in Statistics in the Department of Mathematics, to start on 1 September 2018, or as soon as possible thereafter.

The successful applicant will be expected to contribute to undergraduate and postgraduate teaching in Statistics, initially to the teaching of a new MSc in Data Science which started in 2015/16, and/or the BSc in Mathematics with Statistics which started in 2016/17.

Detailed duties will be allocated by the Head of Department. The post is based at the Strand campus of King's College London.

The selection process will include a presentation and a panel interview.
