Are you an enthusiastic Senior Desktop Support Analyst looking for a new challenge where you will have the opportunity to support a variety of applications and software for a complex organisation during a time of significant change?

Information Technology Services (ITS) is the central IT department for the University serving and supporting almost 7000 users. The University IT service is focused and enables innovation, creativity and business activities across this diverse and transforming University.

You will work within the Farnham End-User Computing team providing 1st and 2nd line IT support to the Universities users, including staff, students, academic partners and visitors. The role includes IT service management with a focus on incident, problem and knowledge, technical support and a variety of project work. Support is delivered via a number of means including the phone, email, self-service and face to face support. You will help support the Campus IT Manager and other more junior Desktop Support Analysts by promoting and championing ITIL service management processes and providing technical support for more complex queries.

As a Senior Desktop Support Analyst, you will use and gain exposure to a large range of technologies including Service Management Software, SCCM, JSS, Exchange and other University systems.

Reporting to the Campus IT Manager you will be a member of the local Campus IT Service Desk ensuring the delivery of a first-class range of IT services for the local campus.

You will be a self-motivated and dynamic individual with proven inter-personal and communication skills who is able to influence others, and develop and maintain collaborative working relations across IT and non IT departments.
