Social Anthropology Administrator (Maternity Cover)

The Department of Social Anthropology is looking to recruit a maternity cover post for the Department Administrator to run their busy administrative office.

The post holder works closely with the Head of Department of Social Anthropology as well as the Head of Departmental Management, Faculty of Human, Social and Political Science.

Responsible for a team of three, the successful candidate will have experience of close team working and, ideally, managing staff. In addition, the successful applicant will be organised, efficient and able to prioritise and manage their own workload whilst maintaining an awareness of the needs of the wider team. Previous administrative experience of working in an academic environment would be an advantage. 

Maternity cover: This post is fixed-term for 1 year or the return of the post holder, whichever is the earlier.
