MBBS Teaching Administrator

The Division is responsible for the administration of several areas of the MBBS course and is involved in the organisation of one external BSc module. It has over 100 research students registered for MPhil/PhD, MD (Res), and MBPhD programmes.

The main responsibility of this post is to provide administrative support for the MBBS Year 4 Integrated Clinical Care – Module C as the Module manager and placements administrator for UCLH. The post holder will also work with the Divisional lead Post Graduate Research student administrator to provide PGR administration support at the Royal Free campus. The role will be based at the Bloomsbury campus with one day per week at the Royal Free campus.

The successful candidate will be educated to A-Level standard with good written and verbal communication skills, experience of providing administrative support to postgraduate and undergraduate teaching activities within a University setting and have a good knowledge of administrative systems and IT skills, including, Microsoft Office Suite and the internet.

The candidate will have the ability to work under pressure, to tight deadlines, whilst juggling a variety of priorities and have good interpersonal skills with the ability to deal pleasantly and effectively with staff and students at all levels.

The candidate will be able to show initiative, self motivation, excellent organisational skills and the capacity to effectively order priorities.

The appointment will be on UCL Grade 7. The salary range will be £34,635 - £41,864 per annum, inclusive of London Allowance.
