What you’ll do

This role is part of the Business School Compliance team, reporting to the Head of Administration and Compliance. You will be key to the monitoring and recording of student attendance across the Business School’s suite of programmes. The role will be working with the other Business School Compliance Administrators to ensure the accurate logging of attendance into BPP’s record system as well as the school’s attendance overviews.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Accurate recording of student attendance in self-service banner
  • Accurate recording of student attendance in the school attendance overviews
  • Produce daily attendance reports and chasing of Tier 4 students
  • Produce ‘At Risk lists’ of Tier 4 students with consecutive absences
  • Provide Student Managers with information relating to attendance
  • Provide SRO with attendance information on a twice termly basis
  • Maintenance of appropriate programme information systems (e.g. SharePoint).
  • Providing registers for appropriate online and face to face classes to lecturers
  • Emailing students absent from classes as per the schools engagement policy

Role requirements

  • Previous experience in an administration role (desirable)
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • People-focussed
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good team worker and the ability to work alone without supervision
  • Excellent knowledge and skills in using the Microsoft Office suite
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Ability to prioritise and multi-task when necessary
  • The ability to deal positively with change
