The Liverpool Experimental Cancer Medicine Centre (LECMC) is a recent award from Cancer Research UK to the University and Clatterbridge Cancer Centre NHS Foundation Trust. The ECMC Network is made up of Centres across the UK, both adult and paediatric and is dedicated to supporting pioneering, early-stage clinical trials and translation of scientific discoveries into new cancer treatments for patients. We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual with good communication and interpersonal skills and high attention to detail to take on the role of LECMC Quality Assurance Manager. The prime objective of this post is to maintain and develop the Liverpool ECMC Quality System and to design and implement a programme of audit across all the Liverpool ECMC clinical trial activity to ensure quality delivery of sample collection and processing for all ECMC studies. You should have a degree (or equivalent qualification or relevant professional experience) and relevant work experience in Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and/or Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) environments.
