University of Exeter - Graduate Business Partnership

A graduate is required for the e-learning team at the University of Exeter to support the development of a range of new online Master courses. This paid internship is available immediately until 31 July 2018 and is part of the Graduate Business Partnership scheme.

Duties and responsibilities of this role will include contributing to the development and delivery of online courses working closely with colleagues in the e-learning team and undertaking proof reading of content to ensure consistency and quality is maintained following agreed quality assurance processes. As well as supporting the course development process and quality, the post-holder will provide support to the project manager and provide support for the wider project. This will include attending meetings, producing reports, arranging meetings, booking rooms, filming and other key project events. The appointee will also oversee the design, import and integration of materials into the online learning platform and liaise with the University external partner on course developments.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and creative graduate who has excellent interpersonal and communication skills, excellent IT skills and who can prioritise work effectively, working well as part of a team as well as on their own. The ideal candidate will have the ability to pay excellent attention to detail and have an experience or aptitude for proof reading and producing high quality work. The successful candidate should be able to manage a varied and demanding workload, working well to quickly changing deadlines and be able to use creative approaches to solve problems. Applicants should also have familiarity with online learning environments, an awareness of the issues of copyright and digital media, and an interest in the pedagogy of e-learning and leading-edge web-based course design approaches.
