The Higher Education sector is a highly competitive environment with an increasing emphasis on affinity building through digital marketing, personalisation and an enhanced user experience. At Sheffield Hallam we're investing in new technology and an ambitious marketing strategy to help us stay ahead of the curve.

As a digital marketer within the student marketing team, you'll play a key role in planning, developing and delivering engaging content and activity across a range of channels, including online, email and paid and organic social media.

The main focus of the role will be marketing the University’s Higher and Degree Apprenticeships to prospective students, raising awareness and driving engagement with our offer in this exciting and emerging area.

You'll have significant experience in digital marketing and a good understanding of current and emerging digital media channels, strategies and measurement techniques. You’ll have experience of working with one or more CRM systems and able to demonstrate a good working knowledge of CRM processes, including identification and segmentation of key target audiences. Creative and dynamic, you'll also have strong planning and project management skills and the ability to develop effective working relationships.

We particularly welcome applications from black and minority ethnic and LGBT candidates as they are underrepresented at this level within the area.
