The Marketing and Recruitment Service is a dynamic and busy department, full of highly motivated individuals responsible for raising the profile of the university with a range of audiences and ultimately for student recruitment. We have a full time vacancy for a UK Recruitment & Outreach Manager (Maternity Cover) from January/February 2018.

Your main duties will include the management of UK Recruitment & Outreach, ensuring delivery of activity to meet the university’s recruitment and Access Agreement targets. You’ll provide strategy and direction for UK Recruitment in line with the University’s Strategic Plan and Annual Operating Plan.

We are looking for a highly motivated individual with strong leadership, organisation and communication skills. Experience and knowledge of student recruitment in the UK is essential.

This exciting and varied post represents a key position within the Marketing and Recruitment Service, reporting to the Director of Marketing and Recruitment.

You should be educated to degree level, have significant experience within Higher Education, be committed to equal opportunities and widening participation and be able to communicate effectively.  This role can be based at either Lancaster or Carlisle Fusehill Street, you will be expected to travel between all University of Cumbria campuses.

This post is a maternity cover and will end on the return of the substantive post holder, likely to be January 2019.
