Salary: £35,550 to £47,722 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

Applications are invited for the above post based in the Division of Psychiatry & Applied Psychology at the University of Nottingham.

The priority area is to support the Behavioural Science teaching of the BMedSci course by the Division including two key aspects of the Division’s teaching contribution to the course: Honours Years Home Base and Communication Skills.

Applicants must hold a PhD (or equivalent) in a Behavioural Science subject area. Evidence of skills in qualitative research, quantitative research and systematic review is essential and candidates should also have experience of delivering teaching within an agreed quality framework. Other essential criteria includes an ability to design and deliver high quality and up-to-date course materials and experience of counselling, pastoral care and motivating students.

This is a full-time (36.25 hours per week), permanent post, however applications are welcome from candidates wishing to work part-time to a minimum of (18 hours per week). Please indicate your preference on the application. Job share arrangements may be considered for this post.
