An exciting opportunity is available for a professional and confident individual to join our successful Qualifications Team at the Society’s Leicester head office as a full-time maternity leave cover to the end of March 2019. The team is busy and hard-working, with responsibility for supporting the Society’s suite of professional, work-based psychology qualifications.

Qualifications Officer, Maternity Leave Cover ftc to 29th March 2019
£26,203 per annum

We are looking for a highly motivated individual to provide advice and support to a number of our qualifications. The role requires excellent organisational and interpersonal skills, outstanding written communication skills, confidence, and the ability to communicate effectively with different audiences. The post holder will be expected to attend board and committee meetings and advise on policies, procedures and developments pertaining to Society qualifications. They will prepare agendas, take and write meeting minutes, draft key documents, reports and correspondence in addition to undertaking a range of developmental projects and liaising with stakeholders and external bodies. The ability to work independently, keep on top of multiple projects and tasks and to work flexibly and to tight deadlines is essential. Previous quality assurance experience in Higher Education, or within a professional body environment as well as experience of committee servicing, policy development and drafting complex documents are highly desirable.
