The University of Manchester invites applications for the post of Senior Lecturer in Health Economics based in the Division of Population Health, Health Services Research and Primary Care. The post is available immediately and will be on a permanent basis. You will be line-managed by Matt Sutton Professor of Health Economics and Centre Lead for Health Economics.

The key purpose of this post will be to contribute to the development of capacity in the Supply and Organisation research theme of the Centre for Health Economics. Current topics within this research theme include: care organisation, delivery and integration; payment systems; determinants of health and health inequalities, and labour supply and workforce planning.

You will need a PhD in economics or health economics. You will also need to demonstrate a sustained track-record of publication in high-quality journals and of attracting substantial grant funding. Experience of delivery high-quality teaching and learning and of evaluating healthcare reforms and policy desirable.
