Senior Lecturer in Games and Digital Art

The School of Computing, Creative Technologies & Engineering is looking to recruit a high calibre Senior Lecturer in Games Design and Digital Art who will contribute to the delivery and continued development of our undergraduate and postgraduate Games and Digital Art portfolio. The successful candidate will be expected to make a significant contribution to the academic support of student year groups through delivery of modules at all levels, and engaging in the development of Games related research and enterprise relationships / projects.

The successful candidate will have worked recently in the Games Industry and be able to demonstrate significant experience in the development of 3D environments and assets.

We welcome applicants with a minimum of a Master's level award in a Games related area, to support the Games related industry experience, who can demonstrate extensive knowledge in the areas above, described, and/or an aptitude for teaching and research capability.

The Creative Technologies Group expects the successful applicant to add to, and develop the delivery of, Games and Digital Art awards at all levels and enhance the reputation of the School's provision in this ever evolving sector. We are looking for an innovative approach to teaching and the subject area with extensive knowledge and drive to engage students in the area of Games to help the School increase student satisfaction of the taught courses and the progression of our students.
