Fixed term contract - The position is available for an initial period of two years, with possible extension (subject to funding).

Dr Emma MacPherson has recently joined the Ultrafast and Terahertz Photonics group at the University of Warwick and seeking one ambitious post-doctoral researcher to join her team.

Research projects will be related to developing THz imaging and spectroscopy techniques for various applications, including, but not limited to biomedical applications. Particular focus will be on speeding up and improving the accuracy of terahertz data acquisition as in many situations being able to measure samples quickly and accurately is paramount.

Candidates must hold, or be about to obtain, a Ph.D. degree in Physics or Engineering or a related Physical Science. Experience in terahertz imaging and spectroscopy will be a strong advantage.
