This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 1 year (with possible extension for PhD)

The successful candidate will play a key role in innovative projects that investigate novel mechanisms underlying the biology of psychotic and affective disorders and evaluate new approaches to treatment.

The studies involve the collection of clinical and multimodal neuroimaging data (MRI & PET) from patients, conducting pharmacological challenge studies, and clinical assessment to determine response to treatment, including the role of clozapine and TREAT. Current targets involve the cannabinoid, GABA and serotinergic systems, and mitochondrial function to target cognitive and negative symptoms as well as testing computational models of psychosis.
