The salary will be paid at Grade 6, £33,518 - £36,613 per annum, plus £2,923 per annum London Allowance.

This post will be Fixed Term Contract for 3 years

Epidemiological Studies of the Porton Down Veterans.

We are looking for a new post-doctoral researcher, for 3 years, based at King’s College London, with frequent travel to the University of Oxford and occasional travel elsewhere in the UK. The researcher will update an existing cohort of c 37,000 men with 10 years of new mortality and cancer data and will also undertake pilot studies to prepare the ground for further work.

The researcher will be vital to the success of the new study. We are looking for a statistician or epidemiologist to start as soon as convenient, with familiarity with Access, STATA, and tools for manipulating data. Experience in working on cohort analyses and knowledge of the UK legal frameworks surrounding data linkage in required. The candidate must be eligible not only to work in the UK but also for UK MoD security clearance.

The selection process will include a presentation, an assessment and a panel interview.
