Salary: Grade 8, £39,992 to £47,772 per annum, with potential to progress to £53,691 through sustained exceptional contribution.

This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in the development and support of impact across a world leading Faculty of Social Sciences. As Faculty REF Impact Manager, you will help lead the identification, support and delivery of impact opportunities across the Faculty at a critical time.

Working closely with senior Faculty management, you will be responsible for managing existing impact and knowledge exchange projects, as well as initiating, developing and managing new projects. An important element of the role will be to support the development of impact case studies and impact strategy documents for the forthcoming Research Excellence Framework. You will also liaise with potential funding organisations and partners on impact, knowledge exchange and user engagement in local, national and international contexts.

You will have a good honours degree (or equivalent experience) and substantial experience of support for research, knowledge exchange and impact at a large University, preferably in the social sciences. You will have a track record of working within and across teams to promote and support the delivery of agreed strategies and objectives and a track record of leadership and management.
