Administrator (Quality Development) Apprentice

University of Exeter - Research Services (based in Doctoral College)

This full time apprenticeship post is available from 01 February 2017 until 31 July 2019 on a fixed term basis.

The role

The successful applicant will be enrolled on Business Administrator - Level 3 with Exeter College working as part of the Quality Development Team, Doctoral College in Exeter.  The Apprenticeship will include elements of on-the-job and off-the-job training leading to industry recognised nationally recognised qualification. 

The Quality Development Team are accountable for the alignment of PGR activity with the Quality Code, along with the administration of PGR student records. In your role you will support the efficient and effective running of the postgraduate administration team. 

About you

You will need to have:

  • The ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people, working with precision and accuracy with a high level of professionalism at all times.
  • The ability to work well as part of a team with the ability to work autonomously and be an effective communicator.
  • The ability to ensure that accurate records are maintained on our student records database and will have previous experience of managing data.
  • Prior experience of delivering exceptional customer service and of effectively handling complex enquiries with excellent attention to detail.

Training provider initial assessment and University Interviews are expected to take place on Tuesday 16 January 2018.
