School of English, Drama and Film

The UCD School of English, Drama and Film seeks to appoint a temporary 18 month part-time (0.8fte) Teaching Fellow in Film and Media Studies to teach the history and theory of media and critical/cultural theories specifically. Expertise in Irish Cultural Studies will be considered a strength as well as an attentiveness to the shifting relationships between mainstream and “alternative” media modes. Experience of first year teaching and module design is desirable.

Salary: €35,000 per annum pro-rata

Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
