Lecturer in German and Transnational Politics

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) is currently advertising a position for a Lecturer in German and Transnational Politics at King’s College London (Fachlektor). The successful candidate will be based in the Department of European & International Studies and will have responsibilities for teaching as well as research. He or she will teach modules related to German politics and society for the BA programmes in European Politics/European Studies and modules for the programmes in International Relations (BA) or International Political Economy (MA). The lecturer is expected to contribute to the administration in the department, including plans for setting-up and running a new Centre on Germany’s Transnational Relations at King’s in liaison with the future Centre’s directors. The position is initially fixed term for two years with the possibility of an extension to a maximum total of 5 years.
